C-Based Software and Tools

Unlike development kits in past, the SIM555 dev kit (SIM555-A01-DEV-01) no longer contains a JTAG debugger or adapter. For C-level development, you will need a Tag-Connect TC2070 cable, retention clip, and a Segger J-Link or Renesas E1 JTAG debugger available from their respective suppliers.
