Known Issues

Changes that May Require Project Changes

  • None

Improvements to the SHIPTide experience

  • Fixed two memory leaks that grew Windows memory usage dramatically over time, slowed the system down, and eventually ground your SHIPTide session to a halt
  • Gradients were being rendered backwards in SHIPTide (SHIPEngine was correct); fixed
  • Occasionally during reboots/restarts of the connected SIM, SHIPTide's connection manager would cause a SHIPTide crash; fixed
  • SIM template (the configuration of the hardware reflected in the GUI Reference Manuals) fixes:
    • Several templates were not reflecting the actual number of UARTs available
    • Removed SIM102 & SIM205 templates since these platforms are not supported in SHIPv5
    • CAN removed from all templates since we do not support protocols directly over CAN
  • Initial support for the new "Raw" protocol was implemented in addition to Modbus; do not use this feature yet -- it is for lead customer testing and likely will have issues
  • Placeholder for the upcoming SHIPBridge Data Service protocol; do not use this feature yet
